Holy Mother of God

we have our very first snow day today...Last night we were told we could see 20 inches of snow by Friday morning, then this morning that ass licker of a weather man told me my area could see up to 6 feet of snow...That is FEET..Is that even possible?

So if u don't hear from me in the next few days here are a list of possible scenarios that could of happened..

*I have been killed on my way to or from work tonight

* my roof caved in from the heavy snow atop of my dwelling

* I did great bodily harm to one or all of the kids and am sitting in jail

* I killed the weather man and I am sitting in jail

* I killed Al Gore and am being held in a federal prison

*I mixed methadone, valum, happy pills and rubbing alcohol together to calm my nerves..(and it didn't sit well and I am sitting on a cold slab in the morgue next to Anna Nicole)

So that's it....

those are the only possibilities that come to mind.

Bee Real

well i was just informed they are sending the road crews home in my county home at 3pm, they feel it is too dangerous for the plows to be out..the bastards must not realize chirstina has to be to work at 4pm..

I am taking my jammies and toothbrush to work in case i cant get out.

son of a bitch

Holy Shit. And you have to work tonight?? I hope you can get home after your shift....safe and sound.

I think you need to fly to New York and calm your nerves with one of Deb's famous martinis! That'll do the trick! We had a snow storm a couple of weeks ago - which I absolutely LOVE - and I made drinks during the day like a true boozer would!

I hope you're safe and warm!

Well holy cow, you forgot that you may not be able to get out of your house, and run out of food and water and have to resort to eating your children, but you can't so you starve to death. I don't know, just a thought!! Be careful in that white stuff!!

I thought you lived in MN and not Alaska?

We only got about 4-5 inches when they called school off at 12:30. Shortly after that it turned to freezing rain and sleet.

Stay safe driving in that Shitty snow. Make sure to pack a blanket, food and water in case you get stuck for 3 days.

call in and tell them if the county can't plow you can't drive to work. Then tell hubby you just have to work and go check into a nice hotel and enjoy the weekend!

Bossy,
Snow sucks. I vote FOR global warming, at least until the snow goes away.

Can you buy some snowdogs and a sled?

Damn girl! I've been worried about you! My in-laws in Cyrus have 25 inches of snow, with more coming! PLEASE be careful, and take care of yourself! *Hugs*

the al gore deal sounds good. Just think how bad you'd have it if it weren't for al's global warming.

I'm sooo glad you made it home!!! I kept reading through the comments hoping you would check in after work and you did! Sounds like you are getting quite a dusting of snow. Don't ya love when the weather person says dusting. To me a dusting is like powdered sugar on top of a treat. Theirs can mean just about anything. Stupid weather!

Anyway, stay home now and dig through all of Mr. Shaky's supplies. Sure hope he stashed some good stuff to keep you happy! Stay safe.
