Things that fly..where they dont belong

In the early moring hours I was sleeping, but not soundly sleeeping. You know the kind of sleep where you can still hear everything but you are sleeping as well? That is the way I sleep most of the time, which can be helpful say if one of the kids yelled or a potetion robber..I would be all set...:)

About 4:20 this moring I heard somehting..Kinda like sqeeking..and hten...fluttering...I knew right what was going on..I knew we had a....bat in the room..yikes..my hubby says.."oh no, I think there is a bat in our room"..He gets up turns on our bathroom light..and yup there it is flapping in the room..banging into the wall..I sit on the bed woth the covers pulled tightly over my head..(I dont want the sucker landing on me)...I tell the hubs to shut the french doors that lead to a sitting area off our room so the beast doesnt get down stairs..All I needed was it to go in one of the kids rooms and cause havic..

Now me..I am not one to promote the killing of animals..but I would of smashed it and made sure he wouldnt be back in for another visit..EVER..Not the hubyy
He catches it in a blanket and takes it outside ..Ya no so it can come back in tongiht..
So this is the story of my early morngin..I gotta go ready for work..Catch up with everyone later..Toodles

OMG - I am so afraid of bats...it's silly - I know, but I absolutely, positively, can not under any circumstances handle having a bat anywhere near me. I wonder if there is an official fear of bats phobia...probably...ugh - sorry you woke up to that. (My Hubby would have slept through it.)

OK, there are potential bats flying around to get in our houses. Is this in certain parts of the country? Because, I am totally freaked out.

I can't blame him for not killing it--the mess alone would have been too gross. I totally do not like killing bugs up against a wall for fear of messing up the paint--oops--that's me, I guess.

Sorry that you were up so early. I guess it is good that you are able to hear things easily like that. Hope you have a good day.

Greetings from Maple Grove! We have a few bats living in our area. After they showed up our Mosquito population took a nosedive. The pets are safe from being stolen now
