Happy family..Well sometimes..Depending on who dad is dating:)

Since I dogged on my mom yesterday..(well really today but this is meant for tomorrow..So don't read till then)..LOL..Today is my dads turn...

My dad is a good man...I am like him in many,many ways..Other ways..Not so much..I have never been fond of a woman my dad dated...He really has only had 2 serious ones since my mom and him got divorced some almost 20 years ago...One was a psycho..And the other one he married...yikes..I wont get into that one..Sore spot..LOL

Well 2 years ago I got a call from my sister..Who is very nose..LOL...Said our dad was just at her house with Jennifer so and so..I am like..Who the heck is that..She said it was a girl she graduated with...Im like huh???....She said she was over at his house right now...So what do I do...I drive right over there to confront this nasty situation...There my dad is ironing his clothes and there SHE is sitting on HiS sofa...Well..I says"is she a girlfriend or you guys just friends"...Yes I was very forward:)....My dad being the wuss he can be..hee hee..Says "you can never have too many friends"...So I was not too sure what was going on...A few weeks later when I had my baby..(spawn number 3)...My dad shows up at the hospital with HER...What nerve...So I was thinking this must be serious for him to drag her to the labor and delivery floor of a hospital an hour away...

WEll too make a long story short...She is the best...We are really good buddies..We have went on vacation together to chicago a few months ago..We talk nealry everyday(by email)..My dad finally got it right..Now I am just waiting for him to marry her...Not sure why he is stalling...I mean she moved into his house...She cooks for him..Cleans up after him..Come already dad..LOL..Really she is wonderful and I am glad they found eachohter..Not sure what a young chick like her wants with an old man..hee hee...But they both work hard and enjoy eachothers company...I am kinda jealous in a way..I mean she is 28..Has no kids..And they can do whatever they want whenever they want...She makes a good granny though..LOL...My kids really like her..And they call her grandma Jennifer....

I am glad he finally got it right...Now I just need to work on my mother...She is a work in progress though...I will find her a good man eventually..If everyone let me pick out their mates..The world would be a better place:)
