How artsy are you? Can you draw? the Mural sounds like a cute idea. I think a soft green would be pretty, and for the floors a lite hard wood or a lite colored tile?

I love sage colered walls. Any of the light sage are beautiful. Your little one is too cute.:)

That dining room looks like a great room and would be fun to redecorate! My bathroom has a striped green paint to it--vertical stripes so it almost looks like wallpaper. It's very cool. Email me at henhowz@comcast.net and I'll see if I have a pic downloaded that I can send you. I probably do because when we moved in I took a bunch of pictures! Also, love that you call your kiddies SPAWN! Yeah, in reading Marel's post, my walls are like a sagey color--very subtle, pretty and green!

I want your floors... I love hardwood floors....as far as colors... I am so NOT good at choosing them. But I like the idea of sage - maybe do one wall in a darker color, and the others lighter, or use a chair rail, and do the bottom half darker green and top half a lighter shade.

The best advice I can give that was given to me is to pick out something you like...a picture, pillow, figurine, and get your color from there! I used to pick color first and after it was all done, it was just okay to me. But now that I pick something that will be in that room and get the color from that, every room I've completed turns out to be exactly what I want...and yes, I'm a fanatic paint it again if I don't like it type of person....lol.

A sage green would be really nice and soothing in the dining room. You could pick out a couple of really pretty framed prints for the walls and a nice, new area rug. Wooden window shades would look nice too.
Hello little spawn!
