Homeland doing well

Just wanted to say "greetings" from the homeland..
Over visiting my mother..usinf her computer to get my blogging fix..hee hee.

Leaving Tuesday for home..Not looking forward to the 16 hour drive back to home...

Some things I have learned over the last few days...
1. My oldest daughter is part octopus..well at least at night..I slept in the same bed with her in the motel on the way here..and she kicked me and poked me wiht my limbs than any one human should have..

2.Listeing to The Wiggles in the car is not the same as watching it on tv..

3.I would rather have a root canal or birth a cow than drive thru Chicago..

4.I am a horriably bad back seat driver..Bad enough I think my hubby wanted to drop me off ont he side of the raod...

Well...I will add more later...take care all...have a good Holiday..:)Toodles

My husband and I completely agree--the Wiggles are not at all the same when listening to their music in the car. When you are watching them on tv, at least, you can walk away. When driving, it is not such a great idea to drive yourself over a cliff.::))

Glad your trip is going well. Thanks for the update.

I just skimmed your blog--where is your 'homeland?' We once drove to Fla from Pa, which is an 18-hour drive and drove straight through with only two stops... with THREE kids in the car--one a four-month old I would take out of his car seat and change crappy diapers on top of the cooler... not too smart, and we'll never do it again! Hope you had a good, safe trip. Cool tattoo, by the way, sorry about the ankle injury! Steph
