Can not sleep..Am I wishy washy

It is 12:28am cst..I can not sleep. I do suffer from extreme insomnia ever since I had part of a gland removed..So this is no big deal. But I am laying here in bed wondering what is wrong with me..I start going thro things in my head..For instance...
I have always considered myself a liberal..I vote democrat..I am for equal rights for all humans..Yet I did vote for George Bush(only once though)..I am against abortion yet for stem cell research....I am for separation of church and state yet think prayer should be allowed in schools..(even public school)..I am for family gatherings..Yet hate traveling to get there..
I am against meeting folks from the internet..( I don't trust anyone)..Yet think it would be cool to meet some folks I blog with..

I consider myself an educated woman..I have went to college for a number of years, but have yet to graduate..I know nearly every dieseae and how to diagnose it..Can draw blood..Start an IV..Tell what I am looking at under a microscope..
But yet can not look if my child is bleeding...

What is wrong with me..Is all of this normal?..Am I just worrying about all of this because I know I have to get up with the baby in a few hours yet have not got a wink of sleep yet...Is the fact I have taken nearly 30 vicoden in less than a week mean I am addicted?..(really I have been in a lot of pain)..

Help me....

Well I am off to try and catch a few winks..I have photos posted below..Please check them out...Toodles:)

I think it's a lot better to know how you feel about things rather than to just take the party line. You know what you believe in and you act accordingly. It's good.

As for the vicodin, I saw pictures of that ankle and would have cleared out the bottle 5 days ago.

Christina,
By knowing exactly what you believe in, you can make the most educated guess come election time. If more people stood up for the their beliefs instead of following the part we could get some REAL people in office.

And, yeah, I saw the picture of your ankle, too. EWWW!

You can give an IV, but you don't want to see your own flesh and blood in pain, perfectly natural.

Blogger people have become friends, "meeting people online" is usually for only one purpose & they are never honest with each other. We know each others deepest thoughts and emotions. And unlike real family, if you don't want to listen to a blogger, just don't read it!

I think there are no clear political lines anymore. I think you just have to go by your conscience. Don't feel bad....I am as wishy washy as you are!

Hope you feel better.... :)

Sometimes I lay awake in bed at night, thinking thinking thinking. I hate that. But, I have had some really good ideas, and worked out a few problems that way, though.

I have met a few folks I met online. One of them is one of my closest friends now and the other, well, 1 out of 2 ain't bad. I'd meet ya!

You are a sweetie. I love your openess to be friendly. I'd meet you for sure. I would only hope that you wouldn't regret it!!:)

As for your beliefs, don't sweat it. In today's day, it's hard to be on only one side. That's alot of the problem--there is not so much openmindedness. I think what we should be are Libertarians. I realize that my beliefs may be different than other people that I run into--but the one thing that I strive to do is treat them with respect and kindness just as I want to be treated. That should be one of the important things.

Keep letting your ankle rest. It has to heal. Take care.
