Ok, I bet your are waiting to hear about how I made big at the casino..How I am toting off with enough winnings to pay off both my mortgages...About how we got so stupid sloppy drunk we made silly with the bellboy...Right...Am I right??...( actually that could not happen because Mystic Lake Casino does not serve alcoholic drinks)
Instead this is what I did today:
Yup..We went to The Minnesota Zoo....
My poor Jennifer could not make it....She was not feeling well and she thought maybe she might of been having a panic attack about getting on a plane..She wasn't sure why..Her and I have flown a few time..Maybe its because of the weekend and the date one of the days falls on and getting on a plane and such...Not sure...But all I know is she could not come...
So hence I had no "girls weekend"....Its ok though...Maybe she can come another time...Or maybe I will go there one weekend...I am at the point where I would get on a plane and go just about anywhere just to get out of the house for a while...But we will see..I am kinda disappointed...But I know it is not her fault or anything...I know she wanted to come...
So there you have it....I am having a ho hum day and a ho hum weekend just like you:)...........LOL

Bummer chicky. Did hubby go with you? Well, there is always next time right :). Maybe you should just take off for a weekend and go somewhere :). Just read my recent post, if you haven't already and you will know how my weekend went :)
Oh I feel so bad for you - I was hoping you would have some girl time fun!
The kids look like they had a blast - we took baby girl and got her hair cut - and shopped for vehicles...why is that no fun?
i am so sorry to hear that, i was actually surprised when i saw you had posted on my blog... i expected you to be out of commission for the weekend....
i don't blame her, i think if i were flying this weekend that i too would have been a little hesitant....
soon... soon you will get your girls weekend and it will be glorious! you will sit back and think about how glad you are having it and all will be well!

I'm sorry you were disappointed. It's a bummer to look forward to something and have the plans just fizzle.
I feel sorry for you at the zoo plus kids. Years ago I took a school bus full of 3rd graders to the zoo in Omaha. I was set with lunch, radio, magazines,,,ahhh, 3 hours of getting paid to sit in a school bus. The Teacher completed her assingnments of the chaperones with, "and you 7 go with Mr Morrow". For 3 hours I was constantly repeating to myself...1-2-3-4-5-6-7 , 1-2-3-4-5-6-7
I'm sorry you got the zoo instead of a fun girls weekend! But I'm sure when you do get that weekend you'll have a blast!
