anyone know anything about....

ya see, I am looking to make some money, ya no..the easy way. (no not selling myself to the pimps and gangsta,s)

but on Ebay. Have any of you ever sold anything on there?...I am thinking of putting my home in michigan on there to sell. I was thinking it would be cheaper than paying 7% commssion to a realetor.

Has anyone ever did this, or no anyone who has?

What are some good things to sell on there? I mean I have loads of crap, I just dont know what people buy and how it all works. I have created an account. But I havent set it up yet...Still kind of leary.

Can u sell kids on there?...oh wait..no.....I didn,t mean that:)

so can any of my blogger pals tell me anything about Ebay, I am an Ebay virgin. I totally have no idea how it works and if u can acctually make any money off it. And I am lazy and looking for a quick way to make a killin:-)

Toodles**

Like do I pay for shipping, or do they?....these are things I must find out.

I sell and buy on there all the time. I usually put clothes on there and that is about all. I have a halloween costume on there now, but no one is bidding on it :(. I have made some money on there. it is pretty easy and they walk you through everything. the first few transactions might take you a bit to get use to but after that you will be a pro :). go on there and do some searches for items. then look at how those people do teh wording for their items. Like :Will ship items within 3-5 business days after payment is received" etc...then decide how you want to do yours.

I also wouldn't recommend putting your house on there....scary...but maybe there are "sell your own home" website's you can post it on???

First of all, the ebay buyer pays for shipping but you must list the amount in the auction. I noticed on my trip home in Sept. that there are several houses for sale. Since that town is not highly known or offers any real jobs, it is not likely that anyone would look on ebay to buy houses in that area. Cheryl Peters helped us with our house and she was wonderful! She even went to court for us because we were out of state. Not many realtors would do something like that.

My sources tell me that it is possible to sell children on E-bay; however, it is a real pain to mail them. It requires a lot of stamps and you have to make sure that there is ample ventilation... All in all I'm not sure if it is worth it.

Yeah, it would be a big pain to list a house. the one's I have seen on there are in real popular areas....and there are some on there in the millions :). Are you having a better week this week? I think i am still in shock your hubby convinced you to stay!

I buy on ebay alot - I don't sell too much - maybe I should start selling - I don't know anything about selling a house on there - although I am sure it has been done - there's a "fsbo.com" (for sale by owner) that might be helpful...

Good luck.

I can honestly say we bought a cabin and 12 acres of land off ebay and it went great with no regrets. I have bought and sold for several yrs and was just looking at property on ebay one day and found the cabin. We bid and bid a few more times and won it in the last 16 secs. Alot of people sell fixer uppers on ebay and they go fast and cheap. Also alot of sells go to people that want to rent them out. I suggest you go check out the houses for sale. You can put a reserve on your home so if it doesn't bring enough you don't have to sell. Post pictures and make sure you have all things listed they will have to pay besides the price like closing costs, etc. Give good description of all the good and bad points of the home. We will that way if we decide to sell. Love your blog by the way... found it from fireflies.
