Don't need nothing but a good time

I stole this from Jaime. You divide your life into sections and pick songs that summarize that part in your life..

here we go..

your childhood:
soak up the sun by Cheryl crow

true colors by Cindy lauper

your teen years:
lovin every minute of it by loverboy
hit me with your best shot by pat benatar

your twenties:
Hysteria by def leppard
Angel by Sara maclalin

present day

Free by Prince

Don't sleep 'til the sunrise, listen 2 the falling rain
Don't worry 'bout tomorrow, don't worry 'bout your pain
Don't cry unless you're happy, don't smile unless you're blue
Never let that lonely monster take control of U
Be glad that U r free
Free 2 change your mind
Free 2 go most anywhere, anytime
Be glad that U r freeThere's many a man who's not
Be glad 4 what U had baby, what you've got
Be glad 4 what you've gotI know (my?) heart is beating, my drummer tells me so
If U take your life 4 granted, your beating heart will go
So don't sleep until you're guilty, 'cuz sinners all r we
There's others doing far worse than us, so be glad that U r free

Be glad that U r free
Free 2 change your mind
Free 2 go most anywhere, anytime
Be glad that U r free
There's many a man who's not
Be glad 4 what U had baby, what you've got
Be glad 4 what you've got
Soldiers are a marching, they're writing brand new laws
Will we all fight together 4 the most important cause?

there ya go

so my birthday was pretty good. Mr Shaky Pants told me I could sit around and blog all day, so indeed I did.

Here are some pics for your viewing pleasure..

Boo Bee enjoying her party hat..

my cake..And mmm mmm good

this is Norm and his pizza,,he is a pig...

Norm was a little sloppy with his cake..

Here are some of our walk, we took Norm..He loves nature

Norm likes to swing, he even said "wee"

He had a mishap in the volleyball net...

He tried swimming away, but he realized he wasn't wearing his life jacket..

Norm wanted to play hide and seek...Little bugger, took me 20 minutes to find him

Blondie Bee was trying to skip stones, mine kept plopping..She kept telling me " good try momma"

She was trying to show me the proper technique of skipping a stone...And hers plopped.

On our walk we saw lots of ducks, some fish, some cats, one dead frog, oh and a dead puppy floating on the shore..Yup, that's gonna scar her forever.

My mom took Blondie Bee to to get me flowers, Blondie Bee wanted to get her momma flowers. My mom said she would take her to the flower shop..She wanted to get me ones to plant outside....Then after a few minutes she said she would rather get me some seed packets and then go by herself a whoppie cushion.

I got a nice hanging basket..Blondie did change her mind..She did good.

Mr shaky pants even tricked me..I emailed him in the after noon and I got no answer, so I call his cell phone and he tells me he was working in the lower level of the office on something and was not at his computer..But really he was on his way home..

Oh, this is for Nerdine....

This is Dora...They must keep you guys in Norway locked in cages, how could you not know who Dora was?...Sad my friend, just plain sad.

Sounds like you had a great birthday, minus the dead puppy.
I have a story to beat that one, though.
When my cousins and I were little, my mom would sometimes pick us up early from school and take us on little day trips.
Once she took my cousin, Ryan, to the humane society to look at the puppies.
When they got there, she noticed that the gate was halfway closed, but figured that they must be open, so she drove in anyway.
When they rounded the corner there was a dump truck FILLED with dead dogs.
Ryan started crying, and my mom was like, "Oh, honey, I'm so sorry! I didn't know it was going to be like this!". LOL Talk about scarred for life.
Nothin' like takin' your nephew on the day they kill the dogs. LOL
Sounds like a horror movie.

Looks like Norm enjoyed your bday! Sounds like you had a good day, except, like everyone said, the puppy. Hell, that would scar me for life!

Now I want some cake! You shouldn't post pics of things like that, you know I have a eating problem :-) I'm off to find some food...LOL

Glad you had a nice birthday (minus the puppy ordeal anyway). I remember back to the laid back days of going for nature walks and skipping stones...when did life become too busy for stuff like that!?
FYI regarding yesterdays post about Dora, don't let Blondie get into Bratz dolls! That is what has invaded our house....talk about an odd shape head, they have Dora beat by a long shot!

I'm glad Norm joined in on the fun day too-he seems a bit clumsy & messy though..LOL!

I learned how to skip stones awhile back when my hubby & I lived in Colorado, I probably can't do it anymore though- that was when we had "time" to do nothing all day.. LOL!

Take care~

One of my friends from high school used to sing a song - one of the lines was - Dead puppies are no fun at all, Dead puppies, they don't come when you call.... awful song - but that is the first thing that popped in my head when I read your post... terrible.

Glad you had a nice birthday!

Nice list of songs. It's interesting to come up with them, isn't it?

Norm is having fun!! Weeeee!

Your cake looks yummy! I LOVE chocolate!!

I am an expert stone skipper. My dad grew up in MO and taught me how to do that from a young age.
It is a very good hick skill.

fantastagirl,
oh my word..now i will have that running thru my head all day.

deb,
well when he gives me permission to blog all day, I have to do it, that comes but once in a lifetime;)

jamie,

the cake was yummy;)

I use to be pretty good and skipping them, we lived right near lake huron and my cosin lived right on the kae, and when we would stay for the weekends, we would stya out on the beach all day skipping them..i was pretty good..alas, my powers are gone;(

Like I said - I feel like I'm from another planet sometimes. No Dora (thank's for the picure btw), no drive-thru's and no starbucks.
and I live here voluntarily??

So - what's so special about Dora?

Nerdine said...

you know - I'm sure Norm would love to travel. wouldn't it be fun if you sent Norm on a holiday to someone, this person took pictures of Norm sightseeing, and then this person would send Norm to someone else etc...

eyes_only4him said...

nerdine,
hold on here lady..no drive thru's..Norway must be filled with skinny people then, becuase the Americans are fat becuase of drive thru's..your lucky.

Dora is a childrens program. she speaks spanish, sings stupid songs, and carrys a backpack that talks, she is kind of like Mgiver..( you probably dont know who magiver is do you)..but whatver she may need, be it a toothpick, a flashlight, umbrella, or golf shoe, she has it in that backpack of hers..

she is like a boy scout.

(your not missing much)

eyes_only4him said...

Norm is traveling...he isnt mine..he has been all thru many staes here in America, he will be going to Scotland, and Austriala I think..I am just one of his stops, and he loves it here:)

All I have been thinking about is eating that cake. Do I have a cake?! Nope! At least Norm got to enjoy some.

Speaking of Norm - every time you mention him I think of Cheers and all of them saying 'Norm!'

Hubby just went to the store. I think I'll ring him up and ask for a cake and then I can get on with life!

Glad you had a happy day!

Nerdine said...

I bet Norm has a good time. I also bet he'd wonder about a country completely stripped of drive-thru's and Starbucks.

Of Course I know McGyver! we're not THAT retarded... I bought a swiss army knife after seeing that show. Now I am miss-fix-it-all

Bossy Bitches,
I am new to the blogisphere and I am wondering how you were able to make your homepage the way you did.

What part of the template do I work on to download a picture to make it part of the title?

eyes_only4him said...

annymous,
where is your blog?

I had someone do this for me..you need to know HTML code in order to do templates, which I do not..there are some web sites that have a selction of free templates..but unless you yourself know HTML or you know someone who does, its nearly impossable to do it yourself. I just told this friend of mine what I wanted and like magic she desgined it for me...i had nothing to do with it..i just told her what I wanted, and she did the rest.
