well..I have spotted ants in my home again...I guess my killing machine was no match for the mighty wit of a red ant.....As I walked thro my kitchen ealrier..Headed down here to my basement, I saw what apperared to be a spot of dirt that was moving...At a second glance...And a move to get my glasses on..I could see very clearly that it was no dirt..But indeed...An ANT....I do not recall haveing a for rent sign out front...Or a welcome mat....Now I am gonna have to find another remedy..I must go out and find there hiding places...I may have to tape shut every crevesis of my home...Not allow anyone in..Or anyone out...I know it is a drastic measure...But this is what I have been reduced too...I am gonna go out there later...And fire up another cocktail to douse on tier happy little ant mounds....I may have to start a few fires..Not sure yet...But I will be damned if I will allow these invaders....An overnight stay is one thing..But when you pack your bags and invite your posse...That's where I draw the line....Toodles..Please don't forget to put your mark on my map if you have not already..Take care..:-)

Have you tried peanut butter and boric acid? Be careful - the acid is dangerous, but if you mix it up and put it in plastic bottle caps, the ants will carry it away (the peanut butter attracts them) to the queen and kill the mound. We also add a little honey to ours to make it easier to mix.
hmm...never heard of that remedy..i will have to give it a whirl..thanks..:-)
as soon as the ants pay my $1000 a month house payment,...they can have the house...!!
Yeah, the pain of paying rent for sure makes them extinct!
Get tough, and never give in! You'll take 'em out eventually. You may have to call in some help.
Thanks for visiting my blog and thanks for the chin up. Good luck w/ the ants!
Were you by any chance an anteater in a previous life? Maybe it's a conspiracy? Cyn is having the same ant problems...
