Your first love...Of music I mean

Have you ever thought about the very first record you bought..Or the very first song you learned all the words too....The first record you bought with your own money?......Has your music preferences change at all?....Most of my music loves like Elton John,Fleetwood Mac,The Eagles...Were all brought on by my dad or mom...That's what they listened to when I was little..So that is what I like now..And the same cirlce is happening here..My kids love The eagles...Elton John..And Prince..And George Michael...My son always says that country music is not allowed in our house...He is learning well....

The first record I ever bought with my own money was "the soundtrack to Purple Rain"....Where shortly afterward my mom took it away from me after her heard the song darling Nikki...(it talks about sex and masturbating)...Guess she didn't think it was good for a 8 year old to hear..Go figure.....The fist record I fell in love with was Thriller by Michael Jackson...I listen to that so much...I ruined the record.....That and a Donna Summer record we had...I use to pretend I was her..And put on a show in the kitchen...What was your favorite record growing up...And what is your favoite CD now?.........Its funny how our taste changes a little...

Michael Jackson's Off the Wall..first album I ever bought with my own money...but you knew that ;0) My favorite now I think is still The Steve Miller Band's Greatest Hits. There are really too many to name. I love all kinds of music except maybe Opera..even then I like some of them;)

The first tape I remember buying was Tiffany's "Hold An Old Friend's Hand"...LOL...I loved that tape. A lot of what I like now are oldies because that's what my mom always listened to. Sorry to say, but I'm a country fan too :)

Born in the USA, Bruce Springstien.

He was from NJ! No one in NJ didn't have his album. Second, was Wham I think. Third, it was Bon Jovi I think. Another from NJ.

I like a wide variety of music from classic rock to classical. I can remember hearing a song with a curse word in it back when I was a young teen, and I was shocked by it. It's just common today.

My music preferences are the same as yours, accept I like country and the Eagles are played on country radio as well as pop stations and slow listening :). I just like everything. I don't think I remember what album I first bought, my mom was so into music I didn't have to buy anything, she always did. I do remember my first concert was Michael Jackson, when Billy Jean was popular. He was cool back then. I love 80's music and almost all other types.
