I am frothing at the mouth, anyone who has been in close proximity to me in the last 48 plus hours...go get a rabi shot, for your benefit......I wrote 2 strongly worded letters. One to the local NBC station who is wanting to charge the cable company buttwads of money to air their crappy station and one to the cable company who I feel should have either warned their customers of this impending end to the National Broadcasting Company, and also for not having what I refer to as good negotiating skills. For if they did, Christina would not be without the sweet nectar that is NBC.
Granted, there are not many shows I watch on NBC...I liked me a little Matt, Katie, AL and Ann..I have tried watching Good Morning America, but I can not gut it.
I love me a little Law and Order, with a slab of Meduim on the side.
And don't get me started on the soap I am missing...
Curse you KARE11 .....( that is my NBC station) even when I get NBC back, I am not going to partake in their news...That was the only news I have watched since I moved here...

Ok, for those of you who like to interrupt dreams, boy do I have a doosey...
This is another recurring dream I have had since I was about 10.
This is how it plays out in my twisted little conscience....
picture the scene if you will, I am minding my own business and all of a sudden a big ugly thug is chasing me. I am normally a fast runner..A Forrest Gump if you will, but when this particular thug is chasing me, I can only run in slow motion. I try like heck to run, and I can not do it...
Then when I find a phone to call 911, I can not push the dang numbers on the phone. I either hit a wrong number, or I can not push the button.....
What does this mean?
And here is one I have a lot as a grown up...I go to put my contacts in and they are the size of small baseballs made out of glass.....Yet in my dream this does not seem wired and I try like hell to get it in my eye....Why?
I would give some shrink out there a good hardy belly laugh and a years worth of mortgage payments....

And the small contacts dream (closest thing I found): "To dream that you are looking through glass, denotes that bitter disappointments will cloud your brightest hopes."
Geesh. Okay, maybe you should disregard those...doesn't sound promising, either way!!

yeah, but the thug is ugly, she said he's ugly. no one wants an ugly thug chasing them. on the phone dialing thing, that has happened to me numerous times, where i can't get the phone dialed. sometimes its my highschool locker and i can't remember the combo. heres what i think. and i'm totally picking this off the top of my head, like i do everything else.
the thug represents old age, and the dialing of the phone represents, you trying to fight against it, but not being able to grasp the concept of how to grow old gracefully. you can't run fast, because as you know we can't out run age. but we can stop trying to dial 911, and just stop, and enjoy it. so turn around, look the thug in the face, and spit on him, like you did your news station. spit in the face of fate, slap destiny. tell old age, it will not overtake you. you are young at heart, and you always will be. throw the phone at the thug. you don't need help, cause your not going to let it get you down. i'm only telling you all this because it's all downhill from 30. sorry to tell you. heres what you need to do get some damn good skin cream and fast. tell me what you use, and i will see if it's feasable. if not, i'll point you in the right direction. spare no coinage on the "stuff".
about the contact lenses. life is overwhelming, but you don't seem to mind you take it one day at a time, and you don't get bogged down with the hugeness of life. you exist in your world, as a sahm, and you love on your kids, and are raising them to the best of your ability. to the outside world, this looks huge, and unsurmountable, but to you, it is completely normal and just what you do. now i seriously just made this stuff up right now. so i hope you like it.

well I dont live far from Minneapolis, but it is a small town...But the cable compnay that sereves this whole area has taken it off because the tv station is demanding money...on the channel they have a litltle blurb that they are trying to find anohter affliate to pick it up...which i hope they do, cuz I dont care to see that KARE11 again, them greedy suckers..

No KARE-11? How strange! Well, the only tip I have (in addition to what you've already accomplished, that is) is go to WCCO-4 for your morning low-down. Much better than that Good Morning America stuff. I've myself have become quite attached to Hannah, Renee, Julie and that bald guy.

Ok I too have had some long time recurring dreams and they are pretty much the only ones I wake up and remember. I now since you inspired me will look up some dream stuff online to see how crazy I am. I am sorry NBC is pulling the same crap they did do my parents. I think they charge more than other channels or something. Switching to sattelite won't fix the problem since it is the station not the cable company that is no longer carrying NBC.
I love me some Days of Our Lives... Can't live without it... when hubby and I lived in Japan we didn't get American TV so my parents taped the show ever day then sent it out on the weekend... Yeah, I am that bad...
I've never had the "can't-dial-the-cops" dream, but I frequently have the "can't-remember-the-combo-to-my-high-school-locker" dream.
