Blaze of Glory

I got a call while at work from my mother. I had to go pick The Boy up from school. I guess he got sand kicked in his eyes and they thought he was going to go blind or die or something of that sort.

To make a long story short, he can see...AND he is alive.

Praise Lord almighty.

He sure was seeing well enough to make the trek to his lady friends house..

sonofabitch.

My dad and his bride are coming next week. They will be here for Memorial Weekend. I don't have any big plans for them, as this state/city has nothing to offer but lakes full of chiggers, some grazing turtles, pelicans, bald eagles, swans, and last but not least...cooters.

And to top it off, they want to stay at a hotel, not here. I am not sure why...They told me we don't want to put you out....

I think they must of caught wind of my lactating dog, cat pissing on my clothes and my house smelling like pine sol.

damnitalltohell.

Ok, that's all I have.

Which is not much, sadly to say..

My apologies to you and yours.

Bee Something...anything

Your hilarious. BTW, how old is THE BOY? Just curious, since my 7 yr old has a crush. I figured he was a teen since he's gone to her house so much, but then the whole sand kicking-possible blindation thingy threw me, because I only remember sand in elementary. So, I'll be back for some more IN YOUR FACE honesty and humor and whatever else you dish out. I like it, I like it alot.--(In some strange accent my sister does really well.)

They want to stay at a hotel because they are still newlyweds and would like to do newlyweddy kind of things without you and or the grandkids hearing or seeing. I think you should look at it as a blessing. Glad the boy is ok. You know chicks dig a guy with a disability.

You can bring them to the big city and go to the MOA. That will keep everyone occupied.

I agree with Karin. I think they just want to do the newlywed shake and there is nothing like 3 grandkids to kill your mojo! Glad Butch made it to the women's house. Sure would hate her to leave him for not comin' over one night!

Yeah, they could be 10 and friends. Still freaks me out. Little people acting like big people. I think I will blog on this a little bit. I have serious letting go issues, which may or may not be normal for the 1st born. N-E-ways....Thanks for kinda coming by, I kinda think that kinda rocks! Have a totally (ahhh, my california is seeping through) bitch'n day. And in bitch'n I mean awesome, not the bitch'n at everyone like I did yesterday.... Sorry Babe.

Humincat,
Well The Boy is my first born..And I want to clobber him to death most days or club him like a seal.

I had issues letting him grow up a bit, but I am just starting to let him branch out more..

I should of just adopted a pack of wolves then birth kids..it woulda been easier..and I would weight a lot less;)

Re: Your Dad & his wife staying at a hotel. "Just because there is a little snow on the chimney doesn't mean there is no fire in the furnace" *grin*

There is no festivals or such to take them to? I could live in the MOA i'm sure.

I agree with the others, they want to do "their thing" in the privacy of a hotel. At least you won't have to cater to them!

I glad the boy's not blind, though I think you may be knocking him blind soon!

So how is The Boys eye?? Did it swell or ooze or anything?

I think your Dad and his bride just want their privacy. It's almost like a mini vacation for them to be coming from way the hell over here, or maybe they have really loud sex and dont want you guys or the kids to hear em go at it all night. ttfn chickypoo

Oh gosh u guys are killing me with the *having loud sex thing*..damn..

The boys eye is a ok...it was swollen yesterday, today his baby blues are gleaming and sand free.

Glad the boy can see. Who the hell kicked sand in his eye?

It probably is best that your Dad and his new bride stays at a motel. You don't want to walk in on them rompin'. That could scar.

eyes_only4him said...

Chels,
good points, I dont ever want to walk in on a romp of any kind.

'Still in heat' I'd say.

Cliff,

You know I would prefer my family and such to stay at a hotel. Especially when my grandparents visit. We always seem to get in a fight or something. Too much togetherness.

I am sure you will come up with something for everyone to do. You are the hostess with the mostest!

What about the mosquitoes? You forgot about the hawk sized mosquitoes that MN has to offer...

Consider it a blessing that they plan to stay elsewhere. This will benefit you I am sure.
