oh you so need to ask you mil for her card! or what about applying for the card (they usually give a discount for opening a new card, then you would get it cheaper) then turn around and pay it off right then and there, then cut the card up and get rid of it. (we are the same way. we have no credit cards at all except the bank debit card.)
