Bad Medicine

Mr Shay Pants went back to the docs today. Hmm, they redid the Lyme test and what do ya know..Its NEGATIVE..duhnoshit....

So now they are leaving his apparatus in his arm, in case you forgot what it looked like I will refresh your brains..

So now they are testing him for heavy metals..Note to my pesky in-laws..

just because the lady on HOUSE 2 weeks ago was poisoning her hubby with metals, does not mean Bossy is doing the same, ya see, I am a leader..Not a follower.

Now they are testing him for heart trouble. Next they will tell him he has Huntington's Diease.
Signs and symptoms
The earliest signs and symptoms of Huntington's disease often include personality changes and decreased cognitive abilities. You may demonstrate symptoms such as irritability, anger or paranoia or show signs of depression. You may also begin to have difficulty making decisions, learning new information, answering questions and remembering important information. Your family and friends may notice these changes before you become aware of them.
Early physical signs and symptoms of Huntington's disease may include mild balance problems, clumsiness and involuntary facial movements such as grimacing. As the disease progresses, you may develop:
Sudden jerky, involuntary movements (chorea) throughout your body
A wide, prancing gait
Severe problems with balance and coordination
Difficulty shifting your gaze without moving your head
Hesitant, halting or slurred speech
Inability to swallow
Dementia
Young people who develop Huntington's disease may have symptoms that mimic Parkinson's disease, including muscle rigidity, tremors and slow movements. Those with early-onset Huntington's disease also may develop seizures.
The disease usually develops slowly, and the severity of signs and symptoms is related to the degree of nerve cell loss. Death occurs about 10 to 30 years after signs and symptoms first appear.

which is all fine and good, excpet no one in his family has ever had it, and he only has ONE damn symptom which is the uncontrollable movement's...And if he did by some fluke of Satan have it, that means my bees have a 50% chance of having it..What fun!!..Everyone in my family will be dead by 40 or before....This is better than poisoning..

Sometimes I just want to bitch slap someone....Any volunteers?

Bossy has to get ready for work...

Bee Real
<3

*update...after I posted this peice of crap I went to my bathroom and to swoosh with some Listerine..yes Bossy may not look at the TP or snot rags, but dang it I like a clean mouth. So anyway, I am so befuddled that I swallowed it...my insides are burning..I am sure I am bleeding out somewhere...

Bossy you haven't told us much about your job or did I miss it somewhere. Has king bee ever thought about switching doctors? Alot of these tests could be checked all at once without having to check one at a time. Sounds crazy they are dragging this out unless he has good insurance and they are milking it for all they can get. Sorry, worked in the lab for 25 yrs and I know all the tricks docs pull.

peggy,
well this is a new doctor, they have run just about every test you can think of..and they are coming up empty handed...this is the second specailsit he has been too.

Bossy is just gonna have to to an appointment with him and bust a cnan of whopp as$ on them all..

Being that he only has one of the symtoms, it seems unlikely that he has Huntington's. Unless the other symptoms come on later in the disease. I certainly hope he does not have that.
Life does suck sometimes. Please don't find me and slap me though, I've been through enough already, and I would like to try and avoid slappings.

Do the people at your new job really know YOU?
The lady who causes lesbian fights and who daydreams about turning George Michael straight?

Beware!!!

Wow....isn't it crazy what the medical system can put us through?
Insane.
I am still praying.
p.s. I'd like your address so I can send you something.

Love,
Kendra

Boy have I missed out on some very interesting stuff! Have barely had time to stop by and half the time haven't been able to read let alone comment. I know my comments mean the world to you.

To look or not to look - that is the question! Not much can top the corn cobs and whatever else has already been said.

The dream...no clue as to what to say other than too many medical probs with Mr. Shaky Pants. Stress induced dream I'd say.

I hope to heck it's not Huntington's. Way too scary to even think about. There is a lady here with it and there is no way your shaky hubby can have it. I won't allow it. It is just too awful.

Hope the job is everything you dreamed it would be. Okay, let's be honest. Hope the discount is everything you dreamed it would be!

You never said where you are working! C'mon spill it!!

I'm sorry, but the docs should know by now what's wrong with hubby. It's been going on too long.

Forgot to mention things are bad when one swallows mouthwash!!! Not good at all. At least your insides are as fresh as your breath!

Your sister, on the other hand, not so fresh! Beyond gross.

I'll give you a call so you can fill me in on your way too exciting life.

Does your hubby realize heavy metal can damage his hearing as well?! Okay, so not so funny this early but I tried!

I just don't have the words; our house will be praying for yours. Not only for health but for calm nerves too.

As to yesterday's post? Just took a peek and laughed my @ss off. (Or LMAO, as you savvy bloggers say...) Your post sums up a lot of odd behavior at our place too!

Ouch ... that Listerine burns something awful !! At least you know your oesophagus (?!?) is clean and fresh !!
Hope you have a happy Easter, take care, Meow

OK, are you just not wanting to tell me where you're working,is it a strip club?...LOL

I don't know if my other comment came out rude about the docs. I just meant that your hubby's been dealing with this for too long, they need to get off their asses and figure it out. It shouldn't take this long to diagnose someone. Good luck!

Man I feel bad for your husband. First off, they don't know what your husband has and I'm sure that is frustrating and scary to him and second, look at his arm!!! That looks like it hurts!

Deb said...

I'm sorry your husband is going through this. I have so many questions for you-- but the main question is, some of these side effects are so 'everyday like' stuff....depression, mood swings, clumsiness, etc... I just hate when doctors try to diagnost on very common side effects. The demensia I would be concerned with. I hope everything gets figured out and I hope you get a doctor who's very thorough. I hate it when a doctor doesn't have enough time to analyze someone's illness as they should.

My prayers and thoughts are with you all.

Ugh! Swallowing Listerine sucks! Poor thing. Stop stressing if you can. None of that helps, I know. :)
